Te Ariroa Tutoring and Mentoring Collective
Uplifting Rangatahi Through Learning, Culture, and Connection
Welcome to Te Ariroa Tutoring & Mentoring Collective - a kaupapa Māori initiative dedicated to empowering rangatahi in Ōpōtiki and beyond. Founded by Alex Le Long, this collective brings together trusted kaiako, mentors, and skilled community members to offer tutoring, creative workshops, and practical learning support.
Whether your tamaiti needs help with schoolwork, wants to explore te reo Māori, or is seeking guidance in creative or life skills, we provide safe, strengths-based spaces where learning is relational, relevant, and grounded in manaakitanga.
Sessions are delivered by passionate facilitators who share a commitment to uplifting our young people. Through academic support, cultural grounding, and real-world skills, this is more than tutoring. It’s a movement to grow resilient, thriving rangatahi.
